What does the SCS PTVO do?

The Seacoast Charter School (SCS) Parent Teacher Volunteer Organization (PTVO) is the volunteer coordination arm of the school. It is a working group of parents, teachers and staff who cooperate to provide educational and enrichment programs that benefit our community of students.

Who can be a member of PTVO?

The PTVO welcomes your membership. Anyone can become a member of the PTVO. The level of involvement is completely up to you. A well-rounded group of volunteers enhances the enrichment opportunities for everyone.

What are the benefits of a participating member?

The PTVO provides resources for volunteer opportunities and coordinates the efforts of volunteers. Participation through attendance at meetings gives you a voice and a chance to help determine the direction we head. As a member you will be kept up-to-date with meeting reports and newsletters. Whatever your involvement, your membership is a true value to our Charter School.

How does one become a member?

Download the PTVO membership form, fill it out and drop it off at the school.

When does the PTVO meet?

The PTVO meets on the third Tuesday of the month, at 2pm, in the cafeteria.
