SCS Parent Involvement

We need you! SCS is committed to creating a learning community that actively engages parents in significant and substantial ways. We believe that a strong parent-school partnership is essential to the success of the children and the school. Parents are involved in many facets of the school, from volunteering in the classrooms to helping with administrative tasks and contributing their talents to our arts programs. We welcome and encourage feedback and collaborative efforts at all levels.

Want to get involved? The SCS Parents Group is working to support the school through a variety of committees. From Shakespearean plays and concerts to book ordering and classroom volunteering, there are plenty of opportunities to contribute. For more information, come to one of our monthly meetings. (See schedule above.) Or contact Carmen Harvey-Brandt, chair of the SCS Parents Group: 659.2337.
