After School Activities

SCS Enrichment: SCS offers fun, educational, and enriching “mini-courses” to our students after school throughout the year. Sessions usually run four to six weeks, and offerings have included Lego club, guitar playing, knitting, creative writing, horticulture, yoga, wood carving, singing, and more. Find out more information here or contact enrichment@seacoastcharterschool.org.

SCS Dance Team: This year-round club is open to all 5 – 8 graders who love to dance and want to take their moves to the next level as part of a performing team. Karen Donohoe, SCS kindergarten teacher, coaches the team. Karen has been a dancer for 20 years, and currently teaches at Ballet Kristen Sampson. She studied at the Portsmouth School of Ballet, the Colleges of the Fenway, and was a student ambassador for the Boston Ballet. Team practices are Monday afternoons. See 2018–19 program information, or contact Karen at karen@seacoastcharterschool.org.

Lego Robotics Team: SCS Lego Robotics Team is a year-round club that meets on Mondays from 3:00 – 4:30. Robotics team is an engaging mix of building, programming, problem solving, collaborating, researching, and presenting. If you are interested in joining us and are in grades 4–8, please contact Kayla at kayla@seacoastcharterschool.org.
